Assertiveness and Boundaries Courses

About these courses

Open to adults aged 18+ who live, work or study in Merton, or have a Merton GP.

In these free courses you’ll learn about and practise ways to be assertive and maintain healthy boundaries, as part of a small, closed group.

We’ll look at health issues and how developing assertiveness and boundaries can positively impact all areas of our lives.

You’ll take away skills to help you live an independent life with increased choice and control.

We have three courses scheduled for late 2024 and early 2025, which are tailored to specific groups:

For people living with a disability: Thursday 10th October - 7th November 2024

For people from black, Asian & minority ethnic communities: Thursday 14th November - 12th December 2024

For people with diabetes (types 1 and 2): Thursday 16th January - 12th February 2025

These courses will take place at WG Morden, 3-4 Crown Parade, Crown Lane, Morden, SM4 5DA.

Sessions take place on Thursdays from 10 - 11.30am.

This course is run by psychotherapist Nalini Persaud.

Spaces are limited. Group members will need to commit to all 5 sessions and enrol in advance.

Please note, this is not a drop-in group. To sign up, please contact counselling@wimbledonguild.co.uk or call 020 8296 0030.
